Duties and
Responsibilities:
Clean and prepare guest rooms and public areas by meeting established standards of cleanliness to assure guest satisfaction.
Stocking guest rooms with supplies in the trained method including but not limited to; cleaning bathrooms, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, picking up trash, changing linen, and making the bed.
Retrieve, stock, restock and store the housekeeping cart.
Laundry and trash removal from the room, transport to laundry/dumpster, etc.
Maintain a welcoming and courteous demeanor in all interactions with guests and staff.
Report damage, mechanical problems, suspicious activities, or theft.
Comply with attendance and all other policies outlined in the employee handbook.
Perform any other job-related duties, as assigned.
Required to conduct and follow CDC Guidelines and brand cleaning standards due to COVID-19.
These high touch/high traffic public area cleaning standards include, however are not limited to the following:
o Interior and exterior doors, handles, door frames in common areas including restrooms, storage rooms, fitness center, pool, and Market.
o All public restrooms.
o Front Desk counter tops, credit card machines and other surface areas.
o Elevator cabs, inside and out, including buttons on landing areas.
o Business Center computer, keyboard, mouse, printer, desks, and counter tops.
o Fitness Room equipment, towel hamper, and any additional surface areas.
o Pool and Patio Area chairs and tables, towel hamper, and any additional surface areas.
Position Experience and Requirements:
Ability to clean and scrub surfaces, extending arms over head, bending, and stopping to perform cleaning tasks.
Ability to lift, push or pull heavy equipment, and stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel for extended periods of time with or without reasonable accommodations.
Effective verbal communication skills.
Hotel experience preferred.
Must be authorized to work in the United States.

This hotel operates seven (7) days a week and twenty- four (24) hours per day.
All employees both management and hourly must realize this fact and be willing to hold a flexible schedule that includes nights, weekends, and holidays.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
