Maintenance Person.
Responsibilities Include:
Complete minor repairs such as replacing ceiling tiles, filters, light bulbs, patching vinyl, painting, troubleshoot and repair pipe lines, toilets, sinks, kitchen and laundry equipment, etc Respond in a courteous and prompt manner to all guest questions and/or requests to ensure guest satisfaction Perform preventative maintenance duties as detailed in the hotel preventative maintenance calendar Monitor efficiency of equipment and electrical systems such as air conditioning controls, guest entrance/access doors, television sets, lighting systems and make minor repairs and/or replacements to ensure things are working properly and efficiently at all times Refurbish furniture and fixtures within guest rooms such as cabinets, tables, chairs, doors, windows and counters.
Paint and finish furniture and fixtures in guest rooms, if needed Perform other duties as assigned by Management Details:
Evening/Night shift hours.
Some weekends and holidays are required.
Able to lift, carry, pull and push items up to 50 pounds Able to hear and speak to employees and guests in person and/or by phone Able to bend, stoop, climb, stretch to reach, push, stand for long periods of time, sit, kneel and twist Ability to work in a variety of conditions including rain, snow, wind, cold, heat, etc.
Able to see and read on computer screen and paper Able to use hands and fingers to operate tools and equipment Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner Must be able to pass a pre-employment DRUG TEST and BACKGROUND CHECK.
This position participates in our BONUS program after the probationary period.
