Qualifications:
? Bachelor's or Associates in Early Childhood Education or Elementary Education or related degree, OR ? Child Development Associate (CDA), OR ? 2 or more years working with children in a classroom environment (while we prefer some childcare experience, without at minimum a CDA, two (2) years actual childcare experience is state mandated); ? Pass a rigorous background check including criminal history, child abuse clearances, and an FBI background check ? Desire to learn while teaching, and enjoy working with children ? Strong time management, leadership, and organizational skills ? High-level written and verbal communication skills ? Flexible and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment ? Completion of CPR and First Aid certification (required) Teacher Duties &
Responsibilities:
? Oversee and be responsible for the care of your class ? Foster the development of communication within your classroom and developmental needs of your students ? Develop and execute lesson plans ? Communicate with parents and staff ? Follow all ELCA policies ? Maintain state regulations and certifications ? Upon hire, you will need to complete Mandated Reporter, DHS, and Keystone STARS trainings www.
