Job Description
Responsible for achieving team sales goals through distributors within a defined region, which in turn sell to dealers and end-users.
Develops budgets and monitoring for the area managed. Directly supervises daily work of channel sales representatives. Responsible for human resource actions such as hiring, firing, and discipline. Reviews performance and makes salary decisions. Influence, interpret, and implement policy and practice within their organization. Participates in distributor negotiation and client development with key clients or in difficult situations. May perform a full range of sales responsibilities during a vacancy or other critical situation.
Qualifications
Requires a bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Requires at least 8 years related experience.
Requires expert abilities with building relationships, listening, persuading, negotiating and managing time. Requires expert or specialized knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services. This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems. Knows principles and processes for providing customer service. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction. Expert at written and verbal communication. Requires extensive industry and product knowledge. Must be able to use Microsoft Office and Customer Relationship Management software. Skillful in managing the efforts of a sales team.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
