Human Resources Generalist

Our client in Bucks County is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to join their growing team. This position will be part of a staff that support areas including FMLA/ADA, employee relations, and compliance with employment laws and collective bargaining agreements. The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree and 3-5 years of related experience in a large company.

Duties include, but are not limited to:
HR policy implementation
Employee relations and performance management
Respond to benefits inquiries
Administer and manage leaves of absence and workers compensation
Process tuition reimbursement
Develop, plan, and execute employee events
Other projects as assigned
Bachelor's degree required
3-5 years experience in a large company
PHR and/or CEBS certification preferred
General knowledge of employment laws and practices
Experience with unions
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications with an emphasis on Excel
Demonstrated skills in database management and record keeping
Excellent Organizational skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality and work under pressure

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
