Warehouse Manager - Pharmaceutical (cGMP)

The Warehouse Lead - Pharmaceutical is accountable for all receiving, shipping, and warehousing functions at the Bensalem, PA GMP warehouse. This includes ensuring supply and efficient flow of materials between Manufacturing & Packaging and the warehouse, managing permits, HAZMAT compliance, international shipping and documentation, ocean vessel shipping, ensuring accurate inventory via SAP, and driving & measuring performance in a continuous improvement environment. This also includes maintaining equipment and facilities as appropriate for a GMP environment
Main Responsibilities:
Lead shipping, receiving and warehousing, including cold chain within cGMP guidelines
Lead execution of raw material and finished good sampling
Author deviations, change controls, and standard operating procedures within company systems
Capable of performing, monitoring, and resolving all SAP transactions supporting department
Ensure a superior level of accuracy and traceability utilizing the inventory management system
Develop and maintain metrics
Ensures compliance with DOT designated hazardous materials, 49 CFR, and IATA regulations
Provide performance reviews to direct reports; counsels and disciplines under-performing employees
Author, approve, and implement SOPs, change controls, and non-conformances
Ensure compliance with site regulatory and cGMP guidelines as well as company policies
Create and maintain USDA permits
Builds and maintains costs to budget, rationalizing headcount for department
Interface with 3rd party contract labor support communicating performance and hourly tracking
Knowledgeable of the current Code of the Federal Regulations (CFR's) and Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP's)
Develop warehouse budget
Investigating and resolving problems, and identifying and implementing process improvements
Responsible for managing the training and development of personnel
The manager is responsible for interfacing and relationship development with support departments (QC, QA, Facilities, Development, etc) to assure production goals are met
Sufficient understanding of process, systems and equipment to troubleshoot problems and provide solutions to senior management
Expert knowledge of electronic quality systems
Possesses strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exist
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form

Essential Requirements:
Minimum BS/BA degree required
5-10 years of work experience in pilot or commercial pharmaceutical or manufacture under cGMP
Minimum of 1 year previous work experience in a cGMP warehouse
Minimum 3 years prior supervisory, management or leadership experience
Must have the ability to work overtime as required.
Strong Warehouse Management System experience using SAP or other ERP systems
Competent with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel. Visio helpful.
Capable of training full time and temporary FTEs
Capable of independently managing a remote warehouse facility
Desirable Requirements:
7 years supervision of non-exempt level employees
Green Belt certification or an equivalent Lean Enterprise certification
DOT and IATA certification (HAZMAT shipping preparation)
Certified Forklift trainer
Hazardous waste management experience (spill containment)
Cold chain management experience

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
